Installing & Maintaining For a Safe Future.
Our ServicesPoseidon Fire Protection is an entrepreneur-led company that services, develops, and protects commercial & strata properties by offering complete fire protection packages.
Sprinkler Installation
A fire sprinkler system is a network of pressurised pipe and heat-activated sprinkler heads that controls a fire at its source. We design, hydraulically calculate and install wet, dry, pre-action and ESFR systems to NFPA 13.
Fire Alarm Installation
A fire alarm system is the detection and notification network that warns occupants before a fire spreads. We install panels, detectors, pull stations and notification appliances, and provide the CAN/ULC-S537 verification your occupancy permit depends on.
Backflow Prevention
A backflow prevention assembly is the valve that stops stagnant sprinkler water from reversing into the drinking supply. Your fire service connection needs one, and your municipality requires it tested every year by a certified tester.
Fire Inspections
Inspection, testing and maintenance is the recurring programme that keeps a building’s fire protection systems in operating condition and its owner compliant. You receive a written report, a deficiency list, and documentation your AHJ accepts.
24 Hours a Day, 7 Days a Week
A system down at 2am is
still your liability.
A fire protection system impairment is any condition that takes a sprinkler, alarm or standpipe system out of service: a leak, a frozen pipe, a trouble signal, a valve found closed. While a system is impaired, the BC Fire Code requires the building owner to maintain alternative protection. Poseidon answers, attends, restores the system, and documents the impairment for your records and your insurer.
Prequalified Before You Ask
Contractor prequalification is the documentation a general contractor or property manager reviews before your bid is opened: who is qualified to do the work, how safety is managed, and how risk is transferred.
The Advantage of Poseidon Fire Protection
Devices drift out of calibration, batteries fade, and panels go quiet without warning. Our CAN/ULC-S536 inspections catch every fault before it becomes an emergency.
